  5. What classes should I take?
  6. Answer
Read the curriculum descriptions in the Vettanna Catalog to see the classes we recommend for you at any stage in your career path.

Vettanna offers classes that improve your essential testing skills and the foundation knowledge you need to be successful on a development team.
  7. How can I learn more about software testing?
  8. Answer
We have a whole area devoted to exploring the career of software testing. You can read about testing and even try testing a sample buggy site.
  9. What's the difference between QA (Quality Assurance) and Testing?
  10. Answer
In consumer and internet software there is no difference. People with the title of QA Analyst or QA Engineer perform software testing tasks. However, in government systems they can have two groups; software testers that test the product and QA Analysts that verify that the contract is being executed as defined and the tasks completed to a defined quality standard.

Vettanna training prepares you to manual (blackbox) test software in companies that have little or no documentation (i.e. many startup companies) or have thorough documentation about the product (i.e. defense and aerospace companies).
  11. I have more questions about testing.
  12. Answer
In Vettanna's "Try Testing" section of our site we have a New Tester FAQ. See if your question is answered there or feel free to email our Training Coordinator.
